In addition to having more than 12 years of experience teaching weatherization, Larry brings with him a mentoring style that is based on his dedication to serving the unique needs of each student. During training and mentoring sessions, Larry uses the very first House of Pressure to demonstrate house pressure concepts and problems that can result from issues such as duct leaks and high negative pressure in a combustion appliance zone.

Mentoring

One of the questions we are most frequently asked is "How do I get started in the energy conservation field?"  Pure Energy has been in the energy conservation and efficiency business for 30 years and we'd like to share our knowledge with you.

Pure Energy now provides energy conservation career mentoring. Please e-mail us with three times that you are available and phone number. Our rates are $250 for an hour consultation, $125 for a half-hour.

BPI Testing

A. Tamasin Sterner, founder of Pure Energy, and two field staff are approved Building Performance Institute (BPI) Online or Written Test and Field Proctors for Building Analysts.

If you or your staff are interested in becoming BPI Certified, and you'd like to take the written and field tests, Pure Energy will proctor those tests for you. BPI Building Analyst Certification is very important for energy professionals. BPI needs about a few weeks to turn around your test results, so plan accordingly.

BPI CEU's and Recertifications

Is your BPI Certification running out? Save time and money by re-certifying and getting CEU's, rather than by taking the entire course over again.

  • As a BPI Affiliate company, Pure Energy offers several courses and presentations that have been approved for Continuing Education Units (CEU's) that are required by BPI.
  • Also, as a BPI Affiliate company, Pure Energy offers Re-Certification Courses.

Cancellation Policy
We don't cash training payment checks until after the training is complete. However, if you cancel your attendance within 1 week of the start date, we can only refund half of the training fee.
